With a minimum number of 10 and a maximum of 30 seated at tables of 10, each with a selection of breads, cheeses, salad, fingerfood and dips.
Tasters have their own recording sheet upon which are already listed the cider notes, cider type, and strength. The 'blind' cider tasting begins with cider number 1 on each table and the fun is to try and find the correct cider notes to match the taste amid discussions with friends. A half pint of cider for each person per round.
The jugs keep coming for 8 rounds and are similarly tasted and recorded. 4 pints in total.
At the end the correct answers are given and the ciders unveiled. How many have you got right compared with your friends?
There is a prize for the taster with the most
right out of the 8 ciders -
A bottle of special reserve cider!
